Continental to buy Siemens VDO
for $15.66 billion
As Reuters reports, Continental AG
will buy Siemens' automotive unit VDO for $15.66 billion
(11.4 billion euros), German industrial conglomerate Siemens
said in a statement today. Siemens also said it would buy
U.S. medical-diagnostics company Dade Behring for around $7
billion.
